Mirror and Velvet Cake course is an intensive multi-day course. During the course, the following skills are learned:
- A full explanation of the secrets of the cake baking success, mousse, and the correct methods of packaging the materials
- Explanation of the tools and equipment used
- Explanation of the best way of Pricing the cakes for customers
- Explanation of scales and measurements
- Practical part for the preparation of sponge cake and the usual
- Practical application for preparing types of chocolate mousse / fruits / nuts / caramel / clay clams…etc.
- How to arrange the mousse and cake in the molds and how to pour the icing on the cake and decorate it
- How to use the velvet spray pump and make the material for velvet from chocolate and the color
- A practical application for preparing mirror glaze from scratch with several flavors and different colors
Each participant will receive at the beginning of the course a book including recipes and cooking apron. Moreover, all stuff that the participant used during the course will be owned by him/her, and also the cake that he/she made. At the end of each course, the trainee receives a certificate signed by Cake Design Vienna, signed by Chef Hala.
